Located in Aguanga, CA, the Bradford Run RV park was started many years ago as a traditional Campground and RV park. Although we still rent spaces for trailer rigs, the future plan for the property is to convert most of the park into a 55 and older park model community.
There is much speculation as to the name, Aguanga. It was thought that Aguanga meant Land of Water, and more specifically “the place of water”. From the original Picha Awanga the name evolved to become only Aguanga. The Picha Awanga has something distrinctively in common with Pechanga. Pichanga was a place located between Temecula and Warner Springs, sound familiar? Pichanga, a combination of Picha-awanga, was to the native indians the place where the water drips.
Aguanga, although high desert, and very hot and dry during the summer, is plentiful in water both via the creek that runs through the foot of the mountains and the wells that are plentiful in water flow.
